Program Overview

The Dock Program is a specialized approach for neurodivergent students, including those with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, or Dyslexia, aligned with Harbor Christian Academy's mission to help every student Achieve, Believe, and Belong. These students may need time outside the general education classroom to focus on skills such as self-regulation, speech, communication, reading, or social interactions. The program provides dedicated time within their schedule to develop these skills, empowering them to succeed in the general education environment. Our goal is not to change these students, but to support them in adapting to their surroundings and navigating the world around them, in line with the A+ System's commitment to fostering faith and success

The Dock Program is designed to support neurodivergent students, including those with ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, and Learning Disorders. Unlike behavior modification programs, we focus on helping these students develop skills rather than trying to change what their brains cannot do. This approach aims to prevent at-risk situations, boost self-esteem, and reduce the likelihood of dropping out.
